Story of the film
The lovely wife of Jagga, a laborer with a young son, is the object of the lustful gaze of the cruel Zamindar of a little village. One of his guys brings her in, where she is raped and killed. In the process, the son is also killed. A furious Jagga seeks revenge for this humiliation. Of the Zamindar’s two sons, he kidnaps one and raises him as his own.
In order to prepare the boy to face the terrible Zamindar in the future, he wants to raise him responsibly and share all the virtues. After many years, this young guy became known as Badal, and the other son became known as Police Inspector Ram. Jagga now sets the oblivious father and son against one another in an attempt to exact revenge for the murder and humiliation of his wife and son.

Interesting facts
Since 1975, the movie has been under development. Initially, it was called “Baghi Badal”.
When dates became problematic for Vinod Mehra, Mahendra Sandhu took over. Later on, Vinod Mehra returned to the movie.
Kabir Bedi had already departed India to pursue an acting career overseas by the time the movie came out.
Movie review
Betrayal and honor set off on a search for retribution. Hema Malini’s portrayal of a significant figure in his life adds to the emotional depth of the movie.
Aakhri Kasam is a good film for lovers of 1970s Bollywood dramas, especially ones that combine action and emotion, even though it doesn’t offer anything very original in terms of plot. The picture is made more interesting by the performances, particularly those of Shatrughan Sinha. It did not, however, perform as well at the box office as other movies of the era.
