Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were selected as the lead actor, marking their first time working together while Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor were also cast as Ranbir’s parents. The film has known as Boney Kapoor’s first film as an actor.
Film Shooting of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar movie:
The film shooting started on 8 January 2021 in Ghaziabad with Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor. In July 2021, the second schedule of the film done in Delhi. The 3rd schedule started in August 2021 in Mumbai, and after that, another schedule was in November 2021 in Delhi. The next shooting was again done in Mumbai in March 2022.
The overseas film shooting of the film done in June in Spain. That month, a video of Shraddha and Ranbir Kapoor shooting a song in Spain was leaked on the internet. The other shooting schedule took place in Mauritius, during that time when pictures of Shraddha Kapoor’s film shooting on a beach were also leaked on the internet.
In July 2022, a song on Shraddha Kapoor was to be shot, but the shooting was interrupted when a fire broke out at the film’s set in Chitrakoot Grounds, Andheri. This incident led to the death of a crew member named Manish Devashi, while another man from the lighting department was injured. The film shooting was completed in August 2022.
