Priyanka Kothari – Personal Life :

Priyanka Kothari was born in West Bengal. As a child she grew up in Calcutta, but most of her teen years were spent in Delhi where the family re-located gradually.She moved to New Delhi while in grade 10 and got her bachelor’s degree in Physical Science from Delhi University at Dyal Singh College, Delhi. She selected chemistry as her father is a chemical businessman, while her mother is a housewife.

She comes from a very conservative background but had always wanted to become an actress. She speaks English, Bengali, Hindi, and even a little bit of Rajasthani.She has learnt Kathak for 6 years and attended acting classes with Kishore Namit Kapoor.

After complete Bachelor of science with Chemistry subject in college, Priyanka started career in modelling and appeared in a number of advertisement campaigns. She appeared in the music video of the remix of Chadti Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani. She has also modeled with Indian Cricketer Kapil Dev.

In 2003, when actor Madhavan came there for a Pepsi commercial shoot, she met with him, showing him her photographs, he arranged an audition for her in Chennai, and she was signed for a Tamil movie titled ‘Jay Jay’ during the year 2003, with name is as Amoga. She made her first Bollywood debut in the 2005 film Sarkar which is first collaboration of Ram Gopal Verma and then later that same year appeared in James, directer is Ram Gopal Varma and Rohit Jugraj respectively.

Since then she had appeared in less significant films and roles.
