Sharmaji Namkeen Movie is a 2022 Bollywood Hindi-language drama film writer cum director is Hitesh Bhatia.
The film’s Star Cast are Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, and Isha Talwar. The film is Rishi Kapoor’s last movie following his sudden death on 30 April 2020. Paresh Rawal completed the role of Rishi Kapoor after his demise and the film was released on Amazon Prime Video on 31 March 2022.
Bollywood leading actor Rishi Kapoor suddenly passed away on the morning of April 30. He was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday morning.
Rishi had been working on a film named Sharmaji Namkeen with Juhi Chawla and actor Gufi Paintal. This film’s director is Hitesh Bhatia while the producer is Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment Recently while shooting for a film in Delhi, the actor had become ill.
With film shoots canceled earlier due to the nationwide lockdown and now, Rishi Kapoor’s sudden death, Sharmaji Namkeen will either be canceled or re-shot from a new perspective.
Actor Gufi Paintal shared a photo from the film’s shoot on Twitter, condoling Rishi Kapoor’s death. He wrote, “It’s bad bad, how can fate be so cruel. Old college, a friend went..worked with him from the start of his career. He was Hero, I was Asst. Director, Was doing now a film”Sharmaji Namkeen” with him as a lead. What a Frank nature. India loses its Hero. God gives courage to family. RIP dear Rishi (sic).”
