Raid 2 Movie is an upcoming Bollywood Hindi crime thriller film director is Raj Kumar Gupta, while the producers are Bhushan Kumar and Kumar Mangat Pathak under the banner of Panorama Studios and T-Series Films. The film is a sequel to the 2018 Hit film Raid, and the leading star cast are Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor. The Raid 2 movie story is the return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), who raids another white-collar crime.
Similar to the first movie, the sequel is based on an income-tax raid carried out by Income Tax Department investigators who collaborate with intelligence services to investigate white-collar offenses. In the first part of 2024, shootings took place in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai.
The Raid 2 movie premiered in the theatre on May 1, 2025.

Story of the film
The new movie follows another white-collar crime and centers on Indian Revenue Service Officer Amay Patnaik, who has so far seized over 4200 crores in his searches. This time, he raids the leading Politician Dada Bhai’s played by Riteish Deshmukh’s property for the 75th time.

Production
Casting
Ajay Devgn comes back to his role as Amay Patnaik in the prequel. In January 2024, Riteish Deshmukh became an essential part of the cast. Vaani Kapoor, who was cast alongside Ajay Devgn, took Ileana D’Cruz’s place.
Film Shooting
On January 6, 2024, the main shooting got underway in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai. The mahurat shot for the movie was provided by Telugu actor Ravi Teja, who acted in the Telugu version of Raid in 2024. After the main shooting was completed in April 2024 and the patchwork was finished by late May 2024, the movie went into post-production. After all of the shooting was over in May 2024, director Gupta decided to include two special item numbers before the movie’s premiere.
The first item song starring Tamannaah Bhatia was choreographed by Vijay Ganguly and was shot over two days in a Mumbai studio in the first week of April 2025. Actor Jacqueline Fernandez and singer-musician Yo Yo Honey Singh shot their first item song together in the latter week of March 2025.
Release
In order to take advantage of the long weekend of International Labor Day and Maharashtra Day, Raid 2, which was initially planned for a February 2025 theatrical release, will now be released on May 1, 2025.
