Luck Movie Details :

Luck Movie is an 2009 Indian Bollywood action-thriller film directer and writter is Soham Shah, and producer are Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. The screenplay was adapted from a 2001 Spanish thriller film, Intacto. The leading roles were playe are Mithun Chakraborty, debutant Shruti Haasan, Imran Khan and Sanjay Dutt; the other significant parts, and fellow members of the gang were played by Danny Denzongpa, Ravi Kishan and Chitrashi Rawat. The camera of the film was handled by Santosh Thundiyil, whilst composer duo Salim–Sulaiman recorded the musical score.

The film released to Indian audiences on 24 July 2009.

Story of The Film :

Born lucky, Karim Moussa takes to exploiting it instead of focusing on studies. Now a wealthy gambler, he decides to recruit about a dozen lucky people to participate in a deadly game of survival. His agent, Lakhaan Tamaang, recruits Ram Mehra – whose father killed himself after losing 25 Crores – and is about to lose everything he and his mom own, and may end up being arrested for robbing an ATM machine; Major Jabbar Pratap Singh – who needs money for his wife’s treatment; a camel jockey, Shortcut, sold by her parents for Rs.15000/-, who wants to make it big in life; a returning player, Ayesha, who had already participated, and is back for more; a psychotic serial killer, Raghav Raghuvaran, who miraculously escaped the death penalty. All of the above, including others from different countries, must compete, kill each other, with the survivor netting 20 Crores Rupees in just 20 days.

The soundtrack album has nine songs composer are duo Salim–Sulaiman and background score by Amar Mohile. The lyrics are primarily penned by Shabbir Ahmed for eight songs and Anvita Dutt Guptan for Jee Le. The audio of the film released nationwide on 28 June 2009, a month prior to the release. The album, notably features a song sung entirely by the lead actress Shruti Haasan who made her debut with the film.

Luck Movie Review :

This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 4.8 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 2423.

Luck has an impressive star-cast full of talented actors–established and new–whom we don’t get to see too often. The movie has a unique, twisted storyline where Sanjay Dutt plays a don who runs an underworld betting organization that puts money on certain people’s luck. These people have been hand-picked from around the world based on their “luck,” which uncannily puts odds in their favor in major tasks, challenges, obstacles, or games. Players get a high gambling on the lives of these “lucky elite” who participate in suicidal tasks.

The film’s USP is definitely its amazing action sequences. What is even more surprising is that the stars did actually perform several of the stunts themselves. Skydiving, swimming among shark-infested waters, and running on a train are just some of the beautifully captured scenes in marvelous African locales. Cinematography and special effects are great. Music is quite good too, accompanied with nice videos.

Critics Rating by Taran Adarsh, from Bollywood Hungama give 3 star out of 5 Star.
