Story of the Dastak Film

The narrative of Dastak centers on Sharad Sule, a brilliant but mentally unstable man, and his fixation on Sushmita, the Miss Universe. Sharad is so devoted to Sushmita that he begins murdering Sushmita’s close friends and family members to win her love. After meeting Sushmita, ACP Rohit Malhotra offers her a high-level security detail and launches an inquiry. As all of this is going on, Sushmita has another incident at an event. Rohit comes to her rescue, comforts her, and calls her “Sush,” which is her nickname—only her parents and closest friends know it—revealing to her that Rohit is a lifelong friend who has loved her since they were in school.

She is happy and gradually develops feelings for him. When they first start dating, she feels safe and content, but then she experiences another horrific event—her best friend is killed by Sharad—that crushes her heart. In order to trick Sharad into following Sushmita and falling victim to a trap, Rohit arranges for her to be temporarily relocated to another nation and spreads the word about it through the media. With the backing of the local government, he travels to the Seychelles to join her, accompanied by his reliable subordinate.

When Sharad appeared, their plan worked as Rohit pursued him and shot him. Sushmita and Rohit celebrate the discovery of his body. The joy, however, is fleeting because Sharad, who turns out to be alive, abducts Sushmita and transports her to a remote island in the Seychelles. He makes her life miserable there. Sushmita attempts every tactic to escape that terrible situation. However, everything eventually breaks down.

In an attempt to change Sharad, Sushmita advises him to confront his issues rather than causing others the same emotional and physical suffering that he experienced as a youngster. However, Sharad won’t listen or change his behavior. She makes arrangements to flee but is never successful in getting in touch with Rohit, who is distraught and has been looking for her frantically. When Sharad was heading to the city one day to pick up some stuff, she had the opportunity to emerge and scrawl “Help” on the speedboat. When Rohit and his henchmen notice it and begin after him, her plan is successful.

Sharad becomes furious at seeing the word “Help” and shoots everyone, including Rohit. He tries to murder Sushmita in the climax because he feels that she deceived him by getting in touch with Rohit. As Sushmita tries to flee, Sharad catches her, and just as he is about to strike her, Rohit—who was spared from the gunshot—leaps in to save Sushmita. After a fierce struggle between the two men, Sharad stabs Rohit. Seeing Rohit in this state, Sushmita becomes furious and uses an axe to kill Sharad in self-defense. She produces a self-help book and dedicates it to individuals like Sharad once she and Rohit return to India, and they eventually find happiness together.
