Story of the film
Rekha, Utpal Dutta, and Shailendra Singh play the roles that are most crucial to the plot of the entertaining satirical film. It is a fast-paced movie with numerous events revolving around the lives of Mala Mathur (Rekha) and Shekhar (Shailendra Singh). Mala is intelligent, successful, and has a sophisticated viewpoint on the role of women in marriage. She uses the challenges her older uncle Mr. Mathur (Utpal Dutta) faces to make her point.
The reality is that she will select a spouse who will appear to her to be a hireling and cook, and she will find many competitors to undertake this task. In creating the absurd conditions surrounding the clauses of the agreement signed by Mala and Shekhar, Executive Anil Ganguly excelled.
In the end, Mala and Shekhar develop a heartfelt bond, and everything turns out as expected. The entire movie is around Rekha, who excelled in her role as an outside-ready modern woman with western attire and hairstyles. It is difficult to see Rekha taking on the protracted role of prostitute Umrao Jaan in place of her. She is merely a fantastic performer. The movie is undoubtedly a performer and will keep you glued to the events.
