Story of The Film :

A woman discovers that becoming attracted to the wrong man can have deadly consequences in this taut and tense thriller. Janvi (Udita Goswami) is a woman whose life would seem ideal on the surface: she runs a thriving business and is married to Dr Adi Merchant (Shreyas Talpade), a psychiatrist. But a faint air of discontent has begun to creep into her relationship when Aryan (Tusshar Kapoor), joins Janvi’s company. For the first time Janvi impulsively gets drawn into an acquaintance, which she believes will give her something to live for. But in a strange twist of events she realizes that she has stumbled badly and tries to break off her affair. Aryan, however, is not willing to give her up so easily, and his attraction to her soon becomes a dangerous obsession threatening to wipe out Dr Adi’s existence forever. Aggar is a story of electrifying Passion, Betrayal and Terror.

Aggar Movie Review :

This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 4.1 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 275.

Well my summary says it all. Aggar is quite enjoyable despite its flaws (and there are quite a few). It’s a thriller which has its moments of suspense and high drama, but it is generally quite poorly written and directed, lacking depth and credibility. Something is missing there – it could be with the general story, which is not very genuine, it could be with the poor dialogues which were hardly believable, and maybe it’s the direction which is weak and created a feel of unbalance.

Anant Mahadevan is the one who directed some dreadful movies like Aksar so my expectations were very low and I was even prepared to hate the movie.

But there’s one reason why I actually think it is slightly better than his other movies: I actually managed to go through the entire thing right until the end, something I did not think I’d be able to do. So maybe there was something about it that did work after all. Where acting goes, no one shines but no one hams it up either.

Critics Rating  by Taran Adarsh, from Bollywood Hungama give 1.5 star out of 5 Star.
