Bade Miyan Chote Miyan movie 2024 is an upcoming Bollywood Hindi Action, Comedy film, Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar while Produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and Ali Abbas Zafar under the banner of Production companies AAZ Films and Pooja Entertainment & Films.

Production

Pre-Production

Pooja Entertainment, which also supported the 1998 movie of the same name, produced Ali Abbas Zafar’s next action picture, which stars Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar and was signed in December 2021.

The movie was eventually released on February 8, 2022. In addition to being the screenwriter and director, Zafar co-produced it under his own production company, AAZ Films. Pooja Entertainment worked with AAZ Films to produce it.

Casting

Manushi Chhillar, who reunited with Akshay following Samrat Prithviraj (2022), was signed to portray an action-packed part. Prithviraj Sukumaran was cast as Kabir, the primary antagonist, in December 2022. In March 2023, Sonakshi Sinha was cast. Alaya F and Ronit Roy had already joined the movie in January 2023.

Shooting of the film

On January 17, 2023, the main shooting got underway at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios. Prior to moving to Film City to shoot additional action scenes, the original schedule featured an action scene that was filmed on the set of Bunker. Zafar confirmed the first scheduled wrap on February 19, 2023.

The second schedule began in the UK on February 28, 2023, and ran through April 12, 2023, with a significant portion of the movie being filmed in Scotland, London, and Luton. Tanks, motorbikes, helicopters, and cars were all featured in some intense combat scenes.

In Paisley, a nighttime action sequence with a street reimagined as Shanghai was recorded. Kumar sustained injuries during the shooting of a bike pursuit scene as well.

The final schedule started in Abu Dhabi on April 16, 2023, with a few scenes from the title track being shot at Emirates Palace. Cars, bikes, tanks, horses, dune buggies, planes, and Chinook helicopters were used in the action sequences. At Liwa Dessert, a replica of an Indian Army Airstrip was built. Except for patching, filming concluded on May 9, 2023.

The 12-day shooting of the final four songs, choreographed by Bosco-Caesar and starring Kumar and Shroff, began in Jordan on January 21, 2024. First, Jerash’s Roman Theatre and other locales were used for the filming of the title tune.

After that, filming was shifted to the Dead Sea, where Prithviraj and Roy were featured in a party track, and a love track with Kumar, Shroff, Sinha, Chhillar, and Alaya F was shot. The most recent song shoot, an Arabic-style tune, was done in Wadi Rum. Kumar verified the schedule wrap on February 1, 2024.

Post-production

DNEG is responsible for the film’s visual effects.

Marketing

On January 20, 2024, the first look poster was released, and on January 24, 2024, the movie’s teaser became available. At a promotional event for the movie that took place in Lucknow on February 26, 2024, Kumar and Shroff engaged with the audience and performed live stunts.

At the India Today Conclave 2024 in Delhi, the movie was pushed. Kumar and Shroff gave a live performance at the Indian Premier League Opening Ceremony on March 22, 2024. On March 26, 2024, the film’s trailer was unveiled at a function in Mumbai.

Theatrical Release

The movie’s release date was revealed in February 2022 as December 22, 2023 (Christmas week). However, Pooja Entertainment announced a new Eid 2024 release date of May 2023.

On April 11, the film was released in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada in regular formats, 3D, and IMAX theaters.

Distribution

Theatrical rights have been acquired by PVR Inox Pictures for India and by Yash Raj Films for international distribution.

Personal Media

Netflix purchased the rights to stream content digitally.

Music / Songs:

Julius Packiam composed the background music, while Vishal Mishra composed the music and Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics for the movie. The first song name “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (Title song)” was released on 19 February 2024.

The second song “Mast Malang Jhoom” was released on 28 February 2024. The third song named “Wallah Habibi” was released on 13 March 2024.
