Story
The beauty of Shamajaan is well-renowned throughout the region, dating back to the 18th century in India. The infamous Shahbaaz Khan becomes interested in this and chooses to add her as another wife in his harem. He visits her home to court her, but she expresses her disinterest. Her father is killed when Shahbaaz kidnaps her and brings him to his palace. Shamajaan escapes and lands at Ahmed Khan’s palace, where she is welcomed and treated with dignity and given the assurance that Shahbaaz won’t dare attack anyone while Ahmed is watching over her.
When word reaches Ahmed’s palace, the family is forced to expel Shamajaan, once more at Shahbaaz Khan’s mercy, after Shahbaaz becomes frustrated and spreads the rumor that she is one of his concubines.
