Maahir film story

Kamini (Hema Malini) is a smart, attractive, and well-educated girl. She marries Amar Rai (Aloknath) in a straightforward temple wedding after falling in love with him. Amar needs to visit his family and get them ready to welcome Kamini. Kamini is soon invited to visit the Rai family via plane. When Kamini is stopped and inspected by the police at the airport, they discover that she has drugs. She is detained, convicted, and given a lengthy prison sentence.

She gives birth to a kid named Shankar while incarcerated. Shankar is taken to an orphanage by a compassionate police inspector (Kader Khan), but he is unable to endure the mistreatment and starvation there, so he flees, leaving the inspector to break the awful news to Kamini. After being released from prison, Bob (Ranjeet) and J.K. (Raj Babbar) contact Kamini and inform him that he is a victim of the Rai family. In order to exact revenge, J.K. wants her to assist him. Kamini now has to decide whether to keep searching for her son or team up with J.K. to exact revenge for her humiliation.
