Story of the film

The goal of the Shiv Shakti Organization (SSO) is to generate terror in India. When the CBI Chief (Iftekhar) finds out, he asks Officer Gopi (Mithun), also known as Gunmaster G-9, to look into the situation. The problem begins when a series of lethal signals strike and force-land a jet tested by Captain Kapoor (Suresh Oberoi). Agent Jackson (played by Tej Sapru) is soon replaced by his doppelgänger. It doesn’t take Gopi long to get to this point and begin his mission to save his agent. He meets Priya (Ranjeeta), who is out to look into her father’s death, which was allegedly caused by Gopi, during this time. Following a few fortuitous meetings, both begin to inquire about the organization and its upper management.

After more research, they discover that the Hiralal (Jeevan) is employing high-tech devices for this organization while he works with his forces. Following a few amusing antics, car chases, fights, dancing with females in thin attire, and some romance and humor from agent Khabri (Jagdeep), they eventually run into Doctor Shiva (K. Balaji), the patchy-eyed SSO head. The remainder of the article focuses on how the CBI handled this chief and his organization.

Interesting facts

Actor Roger Moore conducted several interviews while filming Octopussy in India. He was asked if he had seen any Indian films or knew any Indian actors. “Yes, I did,” he said. He was familiar with Mithun Chakraborty, the Indian James Bond. According to Roger, Mithun appeared and had a superior body to him. Mithun was always appreciative that a senior, well-known Hollywood star would say such nice things to him, and he was shocked by what he heard.

Mithun Chakraborty visited the Badal Bijli Barkha Cinema in Matunga, Mumbai, on the first day of the final performance to see the audience’s response. When the audience learned that he had gone to sit in the manager’s cabin with two of his pals during the intermission, they stormed in, destroying the glass door. Even the security guards were unable to keep the mob under control since a new star had been created.

“My big break arrived with Suraksha,” Mithun wrote in the December 1979 issue of Filmfare magazine. I didn’t do much acting in the movie. Throughout the movie, all I did was dance and fight. For me, it was simple. However, who is interested in actors and performing here? No one. Commercial films are the only ones that sell. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have turned down Bansi Birju and Ek Nazar’s Amitabh Bachchan. He was established by Zanjeer. Amitabh Bachchan is regarded as a terrific actor today, yet no one referred to him as such when six of his movies failed. They nearly caused him to give up acting. I’m willing to wager that he gave better performances in those box office failures.

The Sri Gopal Universal Network movie “Soochna” (1989) was put away. Starring Manjeet Khullar and Mithun Chakraborty. In this film, which was directed by Ravikant Nagaich and featured Vijayendra Ghatge, Sanjeeva, Amita Nangia, Jagdeep, and music by Bappi Lahiri, Manjeet was set to make a comeback as an actress under the screen name “Bobby.” It was supposed to be the third installment of the Gunmaster G-9 film series. The follow-up to Surakshaa was Wardaat.

For fans of action films from the era, it still serves as a quint essential illustration of Bollywood’s action genre from the late 1970s.
