Production:
On January 1, 2021, T-Series released a video announcing the cast of Animal, which included stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Parineeti Chopra. Sandeep Reddy Vanga served as the film’s director. A few days later, news that Tripti Dimri will also be in the film surfaced.
Rashmika Mandanna reportedly took Chopra’s position when she exited the movie in March 2022. In this movie, Amrita Puri will portray Ranbir Kapoor’s girlfriend.
In Manali, the filming for this project began in April 2022. The shooting took place in Pataudi Palace in July 2022, with the schedule taking place in Mumbai in May 2022. The following schedule was held in Punjab and Delhi.
Mid-March saw the conclusion of the Indian filming, and the first week of April saw the beginning of the 20–25-day plan for filming in other countries including Scotland and England.

On January 1, 2021, the official trailer for the movie was uploaded to YouTube. It also included details about the actors. The pre-teaser for the movie was published on June 11, 2023, while the first poster for the movie was shown on January 1, 2023.
On August 11, 2023, the movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada theatres. Yash Raj Films will release the movie internationally while AA Films will do it in India.
