Run film is a 2004 Indian action comedy-romance film. It stars Abhishek Bachchan and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles. It is directer by Jeeva and is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster of the same name starring Madhavan and Meera Jasmine.
Run film was producer is Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. The major portion of the film was shot at Marwah Studios in Noida. The film is remembered for its comedy sequences featuring Vijay Raaz.

Run film Story
Siddharth (Abhishek Bachchan), often known as “Sidhu,” travels to New Delhi to further his education and stays with his Allahabad-born sister Esha (Ayesha Jhulka). Ganesh, his overindulgent companion, follows him and shows up later. Due to happenstance and what he believes to be fate, Sidhu meets Janhvi and falls in love. Following the death of their parents, Janhvi’s older brother, Ganpat, who is the head of their traditional Haryanvi household, is fiercely protective of his family, especially his sister.
In order to protect Sidhu from Ganpat, Janhvi first dismisses his persistent attempts to be with her. Janhvi encourages Sidhu to flee after an encounter with the goons, but Sidhu takes on the task and defeats all of the attackers. Sidhu, who was one step ahead of Ganpat and intended to respond (albeit untruely) by killing Ganpat’s family, excluding Janhvi, angrily threatens him back when Ganpat tries to threaten Esha and her husband.
As Sidhu fends off any thugs who pursue him and threaten to harm him or his family, Janhvi and Sidhu continue to meet up while hiding and fleeing from Janhvi’s brother and his guys. In order to give the school principal the idea that Sidhu is a thug, Ganpat ultimately chooses to use his thugs to beat up a boy who was reprimanding Sidhu in class. In exchange, Sidhu gets suspended. While Sidhu and Janhvi decide they should elope and get married before she is married off, they simultaneously run Esha over with a van and frame her husband for losing his job.
Ganesh, meanwhile, is continuously deceived and encounters many hard life truths. Ultimately, Ganesh loses a kidney, all of his money, his watch, his clothes, and his desire to meet his friend Sidhu. All of his adventures culminate in Ganesh unintentionally becoming a “Pettycoat Baba,” a saint who is thought to have lived in the Himalayas for 250 years by the populace, not by Ganesh.
Before Ganpat discovers this and finds them, Sidhu devises a scheme to lure Ganpat and his men to the incorrect place and marry Janhvi to her surviving family members, who look after her and Sidhu. Now, the newlyweds must flee from a group of criminals. This culminates in a decisive combat that pits Sidhu and Ganpat against one another. He survives because Sidhu prevails and rejects the fatal blow. At last, Ganpat accepts him as his brother-in-law and lets Janhvi and Sidhu go. Sidhu and Janhvi depart and tie the knot.
