Story of the film
Aayush Kumar’s character, Aarav, is a struggling musician whose band eventually signs with their ideal record label. They are unaware that Priyanka (Natasha Fernandez), the enamored label owner, is using it as part of a plot to get closer to Aarav. Because he is in love with her sister, Alisha (Akaisha Vats), he declines her advances. The drama of what transpires next is what follows.
This spiritual follow-up to the 2003 film Andaaz, starring Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, and Lara Dutta, was written and directed by Suneel Darshan. The storylines are reminiscent of other formula films from the 1990s. With aspirations of becoming a successful band, Aarav and his mates Tony (Srikant Maski) and Ehsaan (Parmarth Singh) perform at parties and nightclubs for pitiful sums. They get the opportunity to perform with famous singer Priyanka after a last-minute cancellation, and she falls in love with Aarav and signs the band to an exclusive deal. Aarav’s life is thrown into disarray when Priyanka, humiliated by his rejection, ends the contract. Will Aarav make a concession, or will love win out?
Although this is the main theme, the story veers off course a few times. With music, action, romance, and family drama, Darshan aims to provide comprehensive entertainment, but the ultimate product lacks coherence as it veers between these themes and also includes friendship. Throughout the family turmoil, romance, and love triangle are inconsistent.
Subplots like Yeda Anna, a stereotypical goon played by Jeetu Verma (Sunil Shetty from Awara Pagal Deewana, anyone?), who wants retribution after Aarav gets him arrested for stealing, or Aarav’s desperate need for a sizable sum for his father’s kidney transplant, further break the flow and give the plot a disjointed feel. The movie is set to music, and the interruptions are increased by the frequent song-and-dance scenes. The film fails to evoke strong feelings despite multiple attempts, such as examining the relationship between Aarav’s father and sister or Alisha’s combative moment with Priyanka.
Production
The movie was filmed in a number of locations in Haryana and Allahabad.

Review
“The sheer awfulness of Andaaz 2 really doesn’t deserve anyone’s time or attention,” stated Mayur Sanap of Rediff.com, who rated the film a half star out of five.
Bollywood Hungama gave it a rating of 1.5 out of 5, noting that while ANDAAZ 2 has excellent music throughout, its narrative and directing are subpar.
According to Bhawna Arya of Times Now, who rated the movie with 2.5 stars out of 5, it fails to reproduce the charm of the classic film Andaaz due to poor scripting, a poorly written plot, and mediocre acting.
Suneel Darshan’s unapologetic tribute to 1970s cinema is beautiful, compassionate, occasionally overdone, but never obnoxious, according to Subhash K. Jha, who wrote for News 24 and gave it three stars out of five.
