Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is an upcoming Bollywood Hindi-language survival thriller film directer is Tinu Suresh Desai while the producer is Pooja Entertainment.
Based on the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989, in West Bengal, it stars Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola. Other Star Cast are Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, Jameel Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, Mukesh Bhatt and Omkar Das Manikpuri.
The film shooting started in July 2022 and ended in August 2023 with a song, and followed by post-production works. The film is planned to be released on 6 October 2023.

Story
Amar Joshi, a courageous, honest, and hardworking police inspector, and mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who saved 64 miners at the Raniganj Coalfields in 1989, are the subjects of the movie.

Production
Pre-Production
Under the banner of their company Pooja Entertainment, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh announced the movie. It is based on the life of Jaswant Singh Gill, who saved 65 miners during the collapse of the Raniganj Coalfields in West Bengal in 1989.
The Great Indian Rescue was the new title given to the movie after Capsule Gill at first. Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue became the new name with the publication of the poster in September 2023.
Casting
Jaswant Singh Gill, a mining engineer, was portrayed by Akshay Kumar. In July 2022, his first appearance was made public. After Kesari, Parineeti Chopra was paired with Kumar for their second movie.
Film Shooting
Film Shooting Started in July 2022, with Akshay Kumar. In August 2022, Parineeti Chopra and others joined the cast. The majority of the movie was filmed in the UK, although there were also some scenes in Raigarh, Raniganj, and Mumbai. In August 2023, the shooting was finished with a song that was filmed on Kumar and Chopra.
