Story of The Film :
The journey of a nautch girl in the most extraordinary circumstances. Rajjo and Chandu fall in love against the backdrop of the dying Kothas of Mumbai.
Development and Pre-Production and Production :
The lead star of the film Kangana Ranaut did extensive research in order to prepare for her role in the film. She visited Kothas and met with women there to understand their body language and mindset.
The makers of the film reportedly spent Rs. 5 crore to recreate the ambiance of Mumbai’s red light area, Kamathipura, for their film. It took two months for around 700 workers to construct the set under the guidance of art director Muneesh Sappel.
The music of the film was recorded in London’s Abbey Road Studios by composer Uttam Singh.

This film review are Mostly Negative from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 2.4 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 399.
Okay, I saw this movie even after seeing all the bad ratings and reviews for the movie, only because i trust Kangana’s choice of movies. I am a big fan of her work but this one is right at the bottom.
7 National award winners were part of the team so I thought it would be a good movie..but what a huge let down..No Comedy, No Drama, No Romance, and not even good performances from the star cast.
I am giving it a five because of Kangana’s performance, which was below her high standards but still okay. I am giving it a five for Kangana and the ‘Chatt Gayi Nindiya Song’.
Its a movie worth avoiding.
Critics Rating by Taran Adarsh, from Bollywood Hungama give 2.5 star out of 5 Star.
