Do Knot Disturb movie is a 2009 Indian comedy film directer is David Dhawan. The film is a remake of the 2006 French film The Valet . The film stars Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen, Ranvir Shorey, Sohail Khan and Rajpal Yadav. It released on 2 October 2009, and received generally positive reviews upon release, though failed to make an impact at the box office. It was an inspiration for the 2014 Punjabi comedy Disco Singh which was also remade in Bengali as Haripada Bandwala.

Story of The Film :

Uncertainty results in the life of Delhi-based Raj when his wealthy wife, Kiran, the sole heir to the Saxena Group of Companies, finds out that he may be having an affair with leggy model, Dolly, who is being stalked by her possessive ex-boyfriend, Diesel. Kiran hires a private detective, Nunnu, who secretly loves her, to follow Dolly and Raj around. To pull wool over their eyes, Raj recruits a former waiter, Goverdhan, to pose as Dolly’s live-in boyfriend, while an embittered former employee, Mangu, prepares to blackmail Raj. Hilarious chaos results when Raj starts to suspect that Goverdhan and Dolly are having an affair.

This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 3.6 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 1034.

Expectations from a David-Dhawan-Govinda film are huge, as they have given us true classics in the past. Their latest offering ‘Do Knot Disturb’ is easily their weakest fare together.

There is no script at all, yet the first hr somehow entertains. But the second hr, is boring, irritating & REALLY loud. It becomes a complete mess.

Acting is no better either; Govinda, Lara Dutta & Sushmita Sen ham. Govinda’s female voice imitation is another sore point. Lara & Sushmita overact like never before. Ritesh is alright. Sohail Khan doesn’t work. Manoj Phawa & Rajpal Yadav are fantastic; these 2 steal the show. Ranvir Shorey is wasted; plus the role of his twin is horrible. Himani Shivpuri, Satish Kaushik, Rituparna & Ali Asgar are average.

Critics Rating by Taran Adarsh, from Bollywood Hungama give 3.5 star out of 5 Star.
