This film reviews are mostly positive from critics and also like the audience and become HIT at the Box office.
Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave 3.5 star from 5 star and stated that “Manoj Soni’s cinematography is first-rate. Emraan Hashmi An incredible performance.Sonal Chauhan looks pretty,Jawed Sheikh is brilliant. This is his finest work so far. Samir Kochar is excellent. Vishal Malhotra is good. Shakeel Khan does very well. Abhimanyu Singh is competent. Vipin Sharma leaves a mark in a brief role.On the whole, This film is a well-made film with lilting music, gripping script and excellent performances as its mainstay.”

Jannat 2 movie was released on 4th May, 2012, sequel of Jannat -1 . The main direction/production crew remained the same. It was directed by Kunal Deshmukh, and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt once again under Banner of Vishesh Films .
Emraan Hashmi play male lead actor again with Esha Gupta, with Randeep Hooda in a supporting role.
The music for the sequel was composed by Pritam. It was also commercially successful and grossed ₹650 million (US$9.1 million).
