Story of The Film :
Wealthy executive Aditya Soman, married to Ashwini for several years, and the parent of Akhil, has an affair with his Secretary, Geeta Menon. Both get intimate after he assures her that he will divorce his wife, and marry her. When she gets pregnant, he tells her to abort the child as he has changed his mind about the divorce. Angered, Geeta attacks him, a scuffle ensues, and in the end she gets killed. He buries her body, and returns home to carry on as usual. But not for long, for soon not only will he and his family’s lives will be turned upside when the spirit of Geeta returns to exact vengeance, they will also be the subject of an investigation by the Crime Branch.

The soundtrack was released on 1 August 2007 in many formats including music cassette, MP3 files, audio CD, and DVD-Audio. The music was composed by Pritam and Himesh Reshammiya in a guest song. The first reviews of the soundtrack have been positive with indiafm.com rating the music at 3.5 out of 5. Joginder Tuteja of indiafm.com said “Darling is a good album that thoroughly entertains while it is on.” SmasHits.com said “Darling is the biggest musical bonanza from Ramu’s factory after series of miserable musical releases from bunch of his reliable protégés in last few years.”
On 10 September 2007 the film was at number 5 on the charts.

Darling Movie Review :
This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 3.8 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 576.
The movie starts out well, but around the middle part starts to falter. You realize that the director had a thread-bare plot which he tries to stretch out to the maximum, causing the film to feel begrudgingly slow.
The performances are okay. Fardeen Khan does well as the man in over his head. Esha Deol was interesting and a convincingly good antagonist. Isha Koppikar, unfortunately, was not up to the mark. Fardeen’s friend, Sameer, had an interesting role, but it feels like his role was chopped up at the editing table.
The two police characters – Bhaskar Reddy and Malti – were terrific every time they were on screen. He the talkative one, she the stone-faced silent one.
I wasn’t exactly bored by the film, but I was aware of the slow pace.
