Pratik Gandhi is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in Gujarati cinema and theatre. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Harshad Mehta in the critically acclaimed web series “Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story,” which was released in 2020.

Early life
Gandhi was born in Surat to teaching parents. He finished his education at Surat’s V. D. Desai Wadiwala (Bhulka Bhavan) High School. He participated in theater arts while attending Surat University.In 2004, he received his degree in Industrial Engineering from North Maharashtra University in Jalgaon. He was employed with the National Productivity Council in Satara and Pune from 2004 to 2007. Later, he was employed in Mumbai with Reliance Infrastructure (the cement sector) from January 2008 until January 2016.
Acting career of Pratik Gandhi
Gandhi took part in Aa Paar Ke Pele Paar, a Gujarati drama. He appeared in the plays Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon, Hu Chandrakant Bakshi, and Ame Badha Sathe To Duniya Laiye Mathe, as well as the Gujarati film Bey Yaar (2014). He delivered a monologue in Gujarati, Hindi, and English on the same day for Mohan’s Masala. In 2016, he starred in the lead role of Wrong Side Raju, the film that took home the National Award for Best Gujarati Film. The economic success of his subsequent Gujarati films, Love Ni Bhavai (2017) and Ventilator (2018), was noteworthy.
In the 2020 Sony LIV biographical drama online series Scam 1992, which was directed by Hansal Mehta, he portrayed stockbroker Harshad Mehta. He was highly praised for his portrayal of Harshad Mehta.
Gandhi made an appearance in the lead role of Bhavai, a Hindi movie released in 2021. Reviews for the movie were not unanimous. In 2022, he starred in his next Hindi film, Atithi Bhooto Bhava. Vaahlam Jao Ne (2022), a Gujarati film, was his next release.
He’ll be in the Pulkit-written and -directed Hindi movie Dedh Bigha Zameen. Pratik Gandhi will play the lead in a multi-season biographical web series on Mahatma Gandhi, directed by Hansal Mehta and announced in July 2022.
Personal life
Teachers make up Gandhi’s parents. In 2009, he wed the actress Bhamini Oza, and the couple welcomed a daughter named Miraya in 2014.
