Story of the film
A timid and insecure youngster enters the boxing ring to win the national title, driven by a desire to save his mother and brother from a terrible home life. Will he succeed as he trains hard, hoping to take home a national title and its potentially life-altering prize money?
You will root for the protagonist, Akash Pratap Singh, and the film crew since their honesty is shown on screen, even if “Main Ladega” does not revolutionize the underdog-hero formula. In sharp contrast to the typical spark-hiding-under-rough-edges cliché, Akash begins as a neurotic mess, making his metamorphosis all the more remarkable.
In addition to his adventure, Akash’s friendship with his hostel pals is entertaining to observe. Ahan Nirban as Gaurav, Saurabh Pachauri as Sonu, and Divya Kharnare as the eccentric Pradeep all do a good job in their roles, and many people find their antics amusing. As Akash’s instructor and a boxing champion, Gurnam Singh (Gandharva Dewan) is noteworthy. Although Vallari Viraj’s performance as Gauri, the love interest, is mediocre, the song itself lengthens the movie and slows it down at the finish.
