Story of the film
Amar lives in poverty with his widowed mother in India, is unemployed, does not put up enough effort to get employment, and spends most of his time with Rinku Dayal, his sweetheart. His mother urges him to present his girlfriend after learning that he has been writing love letters, and he complies. In addition to expressing her approval of Rinku and her desire for them to marry, she cautions Rinku that Amar is destined to perish in the water and should avoid all lakes, rivers, and swimming pools since he is incapable of swimming.
Amar is thought to be dead after he unintentionally falls into a river and is washed down a waterfall a few days later. His mother is so distraught and astonished that she loses her mind and continues to hope that Amar will come back someday. Six months later, Amar finally makes it home to his ecstatic mother, who is eager to visit Rinku and share the good news with her. His mother then tells him that Rinku married her dad’s boss, Ajit Verma, not long after learning of Amar’s drowning.
Now that he must discover why his beloved married a rich man, a horrified Amar will discover that his fall in the river was not an accident but rather the result of a plot against him.
