Akshay Kumar

Known professionally as Akshay Kumar, Akshay Hari Om Bhatia (born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia; September 9, 1967) is an Indian actor and film producer who works in Hindi cinema. Known as “Khiladi Kumar” by the media, Kumar has starred in more than 100 films over the course of his 30-year career. He has also earned multiple accolades, including two Filmfare Awards and a National Film Award. The Indian government awarded him the fourth-highest civilian honor in India, the Padma Shri, in 2009. One of the most active actors in Indian cinema is Kumar.

Rediff.com referred to Kumar as the movie’s true hero after the film garnered a mixed bag of reviews.The movie was a commercial hit.Along with fellow celebrities Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Sushmita Sen, and Celina Jaitley, he led the Heat 2006 world tour that same year.

2007–2011: Commercial success and professional setbacks :

Kumar’s most prosperous year in the business was 2007, which box office analysts referred to as “probably the best ever recorded by an actor, with four outright hits and no flops.” His first film, Namastey London, which was directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, was well-received both critically and commercially. Kumar played master and student as he introduced viewers to each of the seven martial arts disciplines—karate, taekwondo, aikido, Muay Thai, capoeira, and Shaolin Kung Fu—in the seven-part miniseries Seven Deadly Arts with Akshay Kumar, which aired on Sundays in 2004.
