Vikrant Massey is an Indian film and television actor.He made his debut on television with Kahaan Hoo Main in 2004.He then had roles in series such as Dhoom Machaao Dhoom,Dharam Veer,Balika Vadhu,Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo,and Qubool Hai.His debut film was a brief appearance in Lootera,followed by Dil Dhadakne Do and eventually a supporting cast in Half Girlfriend.
He played the protagonist in 2017’s critically acclaimed film A Death in the Gunj directed by Konkona Sen Sharma which earned him a Filmfare Awards nomination in the category of Best Actor – Critics.The actor has main roles in the web-series Mirzapur (2018) ,Criminal Justice (2019) and in the first two seasons of Broken But Beautiful, and starred opposite Deepika Padukone in the acid attack survivor film Chhapaak (2020) and the romantic comedy Ginny Weds Sunny (2020).
In 2021 he acted in the lead roles in the Romantic Thriller Haseen Dilruba (2021) ,Social Comedy 14 Phere (2021).Vikrant Massey was born on 3 April 1987,to Jolly and Meena Massey.Belonging to a middle class family,he was born and raised in the city of Mumbai.He has one elder brother named Mohsin Massey.His paternal family follows Christianity while his maternal family follows Sikhism.Vikrant Massey is Roman Catholic.Massey’s educational background consists of attending St. Anthony’s High School in Versova with further studies being completed from R. D. National College of Arts & Science in Bandra,Mumbai.
Being a well-trained dancer,he forayed onto stage with small-time dancing and theatre performances at the age of 7.With support and guidance from his teachers and school principal,he took up performing arts as a career choice at quite a young age.During his leisure period,he enjoys traveling,playing cricket and video games.
