Vaastav: The Reality Full Movie:

Story of the film

In Mumbai, Raghunath Namdev Shivalkar, often known as “Raghu,” and his closest buddy Chandrakant, also known as “Dedh Footiya” (Hindi for “one and a half feet tall”), have difficulty finding employment. Raghu resides in a chawl with his mother Shanta, brother Vijay, who is unemployed despite having graduated, and father Namdev, who used to work at a mill. Since Raghu is not interested in learning, he and Dedh Footiya intend to run a pav bhaji kiosk.

Their diligence pays off, and everything seems to be going well until Fracture Bandya, the brother of a local goon, and his men begin to frequent their stall while intoxicated and mistreat Dedh Footiya. Eventually, Fracture Bandya’s men severely beat Dedh Footiya. After experiencing abuse for days on end, Raghu and Dedh Footiya lose control of their emotions and rage, which leads to the unintentional death of Fracture Bandya’s brother.

Now that they are on the run, rival gang leader Vitthal Kaanya provides the two of them with security with the aid of their friend Assistant Inspector Kishore Kadam. When Fracture Bandya tries to track them down and murder them both by setting up a rendezvous with Suleiman Bhai, a go-between in the Mumbai underworld, the two eventually kill Fracture Bandya as well. Now, Raghu and Dedh Footiya find themselves in the underworld of Mumbai.

Under Vitthal Kaanya, Raghu gains respect as a hitman, and Dedh Footiya joins him as an accomplice. Vitthal Kaanya, who has Raghu in his gang, ascends to the highest level of the Mumbai underworld. Subsequently, home minister Babban Rao Kadam approaches Raghu and offers him a job, using him for his illicit activities. Much against Kishore’s wishes, Raghu accepts, and Kishore keeps helping him out by giving him advice and insider knowledge. Ultimately, rival gangsters kill Vitthal Kaanya.

At the funeral for Dedh Footiya, the Fracture gang tries to hurt Raghu, but Dedh Footiya’s father is injured in the process. Inspector Rane, a member of the Fracture gang, informs Raghu and Dedh Footiya that the gang will all be traveling to Shirdi the following day as payback. Rathu murders the examiner. Raghu becomes the most feared criminal in the city as they stop the Fracture gang on the bridge and take them out.

While Raghu and Dedh Footiya are Babban Rao’s main sources of support, there are certain people who hate Raghu and are only waiting for him to make a mistake. Kishore warns Raghu and Dedh Footiya not to work for Babban Rao since he is only using them to achieve his personal objectives and will fire them when they are no longer needed, but they ignore him. Dedh Footiya executes an innocent Muslim man on the minister’s orders, setting off riots and taking numerous lives. The pair then makes threats against a Parsi businessman to seize his property.

But Raghu kills the Parsi businessman in a fit of rage when he begins to complain about reporting the crime. The government and public immediately put Babban Rao under intense pressure since they believe he has connections to Raghu. He issues a warrant for Raghu and Dedh Footiya’s shooting to death. In an attempt to lure Raghu out of hiding, the latter is killed in an encounter. Kishore notifies Raghu that he has been given the order to be killed by the police during an encounter. Raghu is currently evading the police as well as the men loyal to Babban Rao. Raghu is now aware that his family, including his parents and wife Sonia, are also in danger and must be protected.

He understands there’s no getting away from this brutal reality. With Suleiman Bhai’s assistance, he makes plans to see Babban Rao and murders him since he will ruin others who will look up to him in the future. Additionally, Suleiman Bhai is slain in an effort to save Raghu.

When Raghu can no longer defend himself from the cops, he goes back to his house and begs his mother to come to his aid. It appears that he has grown mentally unstable, gone insane, and is experiencing hallucinations. He is taken to safety by his mother. He orders her to take his gun and murder him; she pulls the trigger, remembering that Raghu had once taught her how to handle a gun.

Later, the family performs Raghu’s yearly rituals on the Mumbai beach. His mother prays for Raghu’s misdeeds to be forgiven while telling her small grandson about him.
