Story of the film
The 1980s are the time period where the movie is set. Salim Pasha, a character in the narrative, has a physical impairment. Together with two of his friends, Peera and Abdul, he commits crimes like robberies and acts as an extortionist. Salim is a man without cares. He resides with his parents, his sister, and his family. Javed Pasha, Salim’s younger brother, who has always worked well in school, passes away as a result of an electric shock. His parents are eager to arrange for his younger sister to wed Aslam, a proofreader for an Urdu newspaper.
Salim is deeply disturbed after viewing a documentary about the communal unrest in Bhiwandi. He longs to abandon everything he does and begin again. With the assistance of a restaurant owner, Salim attempts to find employment and eventually secures a position at a garage. Salim joyfully visits Aslam to discuss how he plans to begin his new life.
Salim is requested to incite a disturbance in exchange for a sizable quantity of money. He declines and tells them how heartbroken he is after witnessing the results of the communal violence in Bhiwandi. Salim is shown dancing joyfully with his pals on the day of his younger sister’s engagement to Aslam. He gets murdered by one of his enemies when his sister’s engagement party is being celebrated.
