Rihaee movie story:
This film story takes place in a far village of Gujarati. Men from this hamlet, like those from many other villages in India, leave their families behind to work in the city. After spending a considerable amount of time working in Dubai, Mansukh (Naseeruddin Shah) returns to his home town. All the males in this community have left to find employment in the city.
With Mansukh’s arrival, the isolated ladies of the village are overjoyed, and many of them are pursuing him. in particular Sukhi Reema Lagoo. The wife of Amarji (Vinod Khanna), Taku (Hema Malini), is a snobby individual. She stands out from the others since she is a strong, independent lady. She piques Mansukh’s curiosity, and he pursues her. He finally succeeds after several efforts, and they begin dating.
Mansukh eventually departs from the village. Later, Sukhi and Taku learn out they are both expecting babies. The movie’s topic is how they handle their pregnancy.
This film is astounding and challenges some of the cornerstones of Indian society. It discusses giving women the same opportunities as men in all spheres.
Through a postman (Harish Patel), the movie begins with the introduction of the rural people. Later, the film, which is aimed at males and their attitudes towards women, hooks them with a tale about a normal man’s dream. A male among a community of yearning ladies. The story then gradually shifts and evolves through many strands to explain how women are distinguished in society’s eyes, what having a kid means to a woman, and what true manliness is.
For instance, Jhumkhu (Ila Arun) loses her kid in a fire disaster and is compelled to conduct the burial alone because her husband is unable to travel to the hamlet. She experiences that trauma on her own. This character is subsequently utilised to represent the idea that the trauma of losing a child for a mother is the same whether it is due to an accident or an abortion. She nearly goes nuts after that loss. Every female character, like Jhumku, has a backstory and struggles in some way simply because they are female.
The film highlights the discrimination against women and men via a variety of villagers. In the panchayat, Mansukh’s father calls for the village’s women to be punished while remaining silent about his son, who was ultimately to fault. The film also exposes the hypocrisy of a culture that believes it is OK to conceal the truth rather than speak it out loud.
