Story of the film
Sharda is blissfully wed to Thakur Pratap Singh, who is wealthy and kind. Ram and Lakhan are the couple’s two young boys. Following their jail sentences for embezzling the family’s fortune, Pratap’s father, Veer Singh, extends forgiveness to his nephews, Bhishambar and Bhanu. Pratap, Sharda, Ram, and Lakhan are deprived of the family’s fortune and the ability to reside at their ancestral mansion when Veer Singh is duped into signing a will.
A vehicle explosion then kills Veer Singh. After learning of the evil Bhishambar’s scheme, Pratap declines to submit to him. Later, Sharda, Ram, and Lakhan are left behind as he is savagely stabbed, badly beaten, and abandoned on a nearby railroad track to be sliced to pieces by the next passing train.
By going to the temple daily and praying for justice, Sharda promises to get revenge for Pratap’s death. She states that she would only scatter Pratap’s ashes until her boys are grown and have finally destroyed Pratap’s attackers.
After 20 years
Now a police inspector, Ram plays a significant role in thwarting Bhishambar’s illicit operations. Geeta, the daughter of Police Commissioner Arun Kashyap, is the object of his affection. Lakhan arrests infamous mobster Kesariya Vilayti by himself and takes the prize after learning that there is a sizable reward for his capture.
Lakhan applies for the position, starts training, and eventually becomes an inspector as well, since he believes that working as a police officer is quite simple. Along with dealing with her stingy, eccentric, yet easily duped father, Deodhar Shastri, he also hopes to exploit his new profession to win back his childhood sweetheart, Radha. When Sharda returns from her religious journey, she discovers that Ram and Lakhan have argued and stopped communicating because of their divergent ideologies.
Lakhan tries to increase his influence so he may exact retribution on Bishamber and Bhanu by using his position of authority to earn more money. Lakhan joins Ram’s gang and works with them while Ram puts Bhishambar through hardships. But after being duped by Bhishamber and the vicious thug Sir John, Ram must accept responsibility, save his brother, and complete the task that was first initiated. Lakhan pushes Bishamber down as they battle their foes, and the approaching train slashes him. Thakur is also pulled down and murdered in the same manner, while Bhanu is shot down.
