Story of The Film
Senior Superintendent of Police Officer Javed Abbas and Assistant Commissioner of Police Officer Arun Verma, who are both Special Task Force officers and partners, are introduced as friends and coworkers at the start of the movie. Arun is a hot-headed, irresponsible, but well-meaning subordinate and friend who is more like a brother to Javed, the widower who is lovingly raising his four children. Like he doesn’t like any youngster, Arun doesn’t like Javed’s four kids, and the four kids don’t like him either.
The entire police department has always been desperate to apprehend the local drug boss, KKV. Unfortunately, no one has ever been able to gather any credible evidence against KKV because of his extensive network within the police department.
Police apprehend KKV and his group while they are trafficking drugs, thanks to the assistance of an informant. It becomes evident that a police department employee is working for him when he is apprehended and is released from KKV when someone substitutes the medicines that were holding him with sweets. The Police Commissioner wants to track out the betrayer ASAP.
Javed is friends with Geeta. She falls in love with Arun right away after meeting him, but he doesn’t seem to be particularly interested in her and consistently avoids her.
During a later narcotics bust, Javed is shot and killed by an unidentified gunman. In a letter to Arun prior to the mission, Javed asked Arun to look after his four children in the event that he did not survive. Despite not being a fan of children, Arun chooses to adopt Javed’s kids rather than place them in an orphanage because she is Javed’s best friend. In order for Geeta to assist him in caring for the kids, Arun also turns to her for support and safety. Arun starts opening up to the kids and developing feelings for her as their friendship grows over time. Arun’s life quickly gets challenging because he can’t support as many people with his wages.
When Arun goes to threaten KKV in his club, he doesn’t expect to discover that Geeta is a dancer there. Arun gets upset with Geeta because he believes that Geeta has been deceiving him by being respectable, in addition to the fact that he finds bar dancing to be a dirty profession. Arun believes the bar dancer is just another individual who happens to look like Geeta when he approaches her and questions her later when he gets home. The kids all respond that Geeta was with them the entire day and never once left.
Arun robs KKV due to the strain of his living circumstances. Knowing it’s illicit money, he steals a substantial sum of money from KKV for drugs and uses it to buy his family a large house. Almost instantly, Arun is apprehended and detained—not for the crime, but rather for possessing illegal drugs. Police discover that the drugs discovered in his home are KKV property, thus they accuse him of being a spy for the organization. Arun has never taken drugs, thus it is obvious that he is being set up, but he is unsure of his accuser.
Geeta also testifies against Arun in court, but this time she does so as a covert police officer who works at KKV’s bar and who saw Arun rob him. Geeta confirms that she was the bar dancer Arun saw. Consequently, Arun’s employment is on hold pending a new trial.
Arun chooses to go it alone in his search for Javed’s killer and the KKV spy since he no longer has faith in anyone. He questions a policeman at his residence who he feels is corrupt. Although the officer acknowledges that he is a KKV spy, he obeys JD, another police officer’s orders. Additionally, he claims that JD knows who killed Javed but he does not. After killing him, Arun goes to JD’s house.
Arun phones Geeta, who was with the Police Commissioner when she answered the phone, asking for assistance as he heads to JD’s residence. Geeta joins Arun to question JD with the Commissioner’s authorization, only to discover that JD was slain just before they got there. Since he is the only third party that is aware that they are traveling to JD, they suspect the Police Commissioner is the spy.
Arun storms over to the Police Commissioner’s residence and gives him a rough time, but the Commissioner insists he is not a KKV spy. Geeta, the Police Commissioner’s superior, travels to the CBI Chief’s house to report the problem. When she discovers that KKV is there with the Chief, she knows right away that the Chief is the real spy because he may have learned of the initial plan from the Commissioner. Geeta is attempted to be killed by the Chief and KKV, but she escapes.
After seeing Arun and the Commissioner, Geeta informs them of her observations regarding the Chief. The Commissioner informs the two that the Chief intends to depart the country shortly after being astounded to learn of this knowledge. In a hurry, Geeta and Arun reach the airport to prevent the Chief from taking off. Chief is taken prisoner by KKV during an airport gunfight, during which the Chief is killed. Inspector Sawant kills KKV, but Arun kills him instead.
In addition, Sawant admits to killing Javed because he felt denigrated by the latter and resentful that, in spite of Sawant’s diligence and hard work, Javed received all the praise and recognition. Arun defeats Sawant and saves the day; thereafter, he receives accolades from his department, regains his job, gets back to see the kids, who now adore him for his character development, and marries Geeta.
