Story of the film

The corrupt police inspector Kiran Kumar (Kumar) and his cronies are stopped in their tracks in the rural area of Ramgarh by the honest and hardworking Forest Officer Kishan Srivastav (Shroff) and his wife Jaya (Pradha). Among these pursuits is the capturing and murdering of animals for Dayalu’s extravagant house décor. When Kishan tries to stop their illegal operation, he discovers that Dayalu Singh has ignored him and reported to his superiors, which led to his termination from the company and his being falsely accused of killing someone.

Apart from escaping punishment for murder, Dayalu also murdered Gopal (Deol) in front of his intended bride, Jugni (Sridevi), driving her insane. Dayalu sets up Jwalaprasad (Kharbanda), Jugni’s father, for Gopal’s murder.

Dayalu notices Jaya by herself and directs his amorous gaze in her direction. However, just in time, Ramu, a young elephant, rescues Jaya and engages the Thakur in combat.

Jaya, Kishan’s wife, passes out in court when her husband receives a seven-year prison sentence. She is looked after by her son and Ramu the elephant, who perform a street play to raise money for her prescription drugs. Kishan is aided in his escape from prison by Ramu the elephant, who carries his beloved footwear. Ramu assists the family in getting away from Thakur and his goon police officers.

The son begins to get hungry while the family hides in the bush. As Ramu approaches a temple, he begins to bless women, who then offer him money. With this money, he buys bread for the family. When Inspector Kiran Kumar notices this, she proceeds into the jungle with Ramu the elephant.

After locating the family, Kiran gets ready to shoot Kishan when Ramu uses his trunk to steal the gun from him. Kishan and Ramu repel the cops together. In the end, Ramu tramps Kiran to death. After being freed from prison, Jwalaprasad discovers that Jugni has left the asylum. When Jwalaprasad finds her in front of a temple wearing flawless makeup, she doesn’t acknowledge him. Jugni continues to believe that she will tie the knot. After successfully cornering Thakur’s soldiers, Jwalaprasad attempts to battle them on his own. Ramu the elephant drags Jwalaprasad out of the marsh after the men cast him into it, but Kishan arrives just in time to save him.

Thakur became enraged and sent his main goon into the swamp. The lone witness of Kishan’s innocence is shot by his soldiers. To protect the witness, Kishan brings this man to the hospital and makes threats against a physician.

Realizing that he is destined to die, Thakur returns to kidnap Jaya, killing a villager in the process, as a means of self-defense. Jugni faints, remembering the horror she went through. Kishan is informed by Jwalaprasad that his wife has been kidnapped, and the two of them proceed to battle Thakur in his opulent home. Both of them are apprehended. When Jugni gets there, she calls her father, Dayalu Thakur, who informs her that Jugni is engaged to him.

In an attempt to trick him, Jugni then gets dressed up and begins to dance. Jugni frees all three of the prisoners by demonstrating her combat prowess. She gets shot during this fight. Even though Thakur escapes the action, Kishan, Jugni, and Ramu the elephant follow him. Jugni takes Thakur’s life to exact revenge on Gopal. Additionally, Ramu the elephant tramples Thakur after realizing that Thakur killed his mother. Jugni’s wounds finally cause her to pass away. Elephant Ramu implores people to save the natural world.
