Story of the film :

Gangster and criminal Don, Suraj Rana, who is also known for his kindness, adopts a street urchin named Arjun, and teaches him all the tricks of the trade, so that he can succeed him, even though he has a son named Karan. Arjun and Karan grow up as brothers, and Arjun takes charge of all criminal activities after Suraj passes away. Karan has fallen in love with Bindiya, the daughter of Suraj’s deceased employee, and would like her to marry him. But Bindiya is in love with Saahil, and only likes Karan. Karan now decides to take the matter into his own hands, and thereby force Arjun to take sides either for him or against him.

Rahman reused three classic songs he composed for Tamil film Rhythm, with only four new songs added due to lack of time. The songs of Rhythm were inspired from the 5 elements of the world. Rahman did not do the background score, since he was busily involved in several other projects.

Lakeer Movie Review :

This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 4.4 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 885.

Lakeer is okay as a movie. Sunny Deol shines in the first half, but then he is sidelined in the second half only to show up later in the movie before the climax. The way the movie went, Sunny should have just been in full action. Anyways, the story overall is not too bad, as it does have the 2 biggest action heroes in Bollywood: Sunny Deol and Sunil Shetty. The scenes between them are worth watching. Also, Sunny’s avatar is somewhat different from his usual action hero avatar, but he amazes in all areas. I wish that he had more footage in this film. This may not be exactly the best movie, but it is a decent time pass, if you ever do catch it on TV.
