Story of the film

The tale’s protagonist is Manoj Patil, a loving father whose life is upended when his daughter Gudiya perishes in a tragedy brought on by administrative error. Manoj turns his sorrow into a revolutionary campaign to protect other children because he is determined to stop tragic events like this from happening again. His remarkable narrative demonstrates the strength of transforming personal suffering into constructive action as he battles for Gudiya’s justice and shields other girls from similar outcomes.

Despite their seemingly innocuous appearance, potholes take numerous lives every year. Potholes are a common occurrence on Indian roadways, regardless of the size of the cities or towns. The rainy season exacerbates the problem, and the poor state of the roadways endangers life. “Kaam Chalu Hai” addresses an unexplored and highly pertinent societal topic that has not before been the subject of a motion picture. The issue is so serious, though, that it is puzzling that filmmakers have given the topic little attention at all. Therefore, it is admirable that someone would take the time and care to create a movie on this silent murderer. The Patils, a modest middle-class family in Sangli, serve as the backdrop for director Palaash Muchhal’s narrative. Radha (Gia Manek) is a homemaker, while Manoj (Rajpal Yadav) works as a manager at a nearby eatery. Their little girl, Gayatri (Kurangi Nagraj), whom they adore and nickname Gudiya, is the center of their universe. She does well in school and is a talented athlete. Manoj is optimistic about his daughter. One day, he hopes, she will represent the nation in cricket. However, a catastrophe occurs the day before Manoj and Gudiya are about to go to Mumbai, where she will be instructing cricket, and their entire world falls apart.

Muchhal’s film, up to this moment, is a montage of scenes and music that are connected to show a contented family. The film moves slowly and is performed similarly to a dramatized social service commercial. Up until the major surprise, the performances are so superficial as to be comical. Their banter appears to be quite manufactured. The movie does not start delivering its point until the second half. It makes sense to depict the contented family so that viewers may identify with them, however, the first part is far too energetic. However, the subject’s gravity is well-documented, and as the narrative goes on, it becomes clear how terrible and evil these potholes can be. They have the power to instantly end someone’s life or, worse, permanently maim them. The widespread administrative indifference, however, makes it difficult to understand why there are not more severe repercussions, such as the collapse of a government.
