Story of the film
Rebound romances and heartbreaks are discussed in the movie. Raghav, a story writer, gets his first big break writing love stories for motion pictures. To compose the narrative, he draws inspiration from his personal experiences.
Act 1: Friendship and Relationships
It is impossible to separate Sahir, Raghav, and Sanya. But the relationships between them shift as they become older. Raghav ends up dating Riya Mathur, while Sanya and Sahir, who were formerly just friends, begin dating. Although both couples appear content, latent immaturity and anxieties start to show.
Act 2: Heartbreaks and Emotional Turmoil
Because of Sahir’s increasing aspirations and trust concerns, Sanya and Sahir’s relationship begins to fall apart. On the other hand, Raghav’s indecision regarding his future and Riya’s domineering behavior provide problems for their partnership. Raghav and Sanya are left emotionally devastated when both romances ultimately fail.
Act 3: The Rebound Connection
Raghav and Sanya decide to take a trip along with their circle of pals to deal with their heartbreaks. Raghav and Sanya bond over their shared experiences of love and grief throughout their vacation, spending a lot of time together. They begin to feel something for one another, but they are reluctant to act on it for fear that it will destroy their friendship.
Act 4: Raghav’s Journey as a Writer
Aspiring author Raghav draws inspiration from his journey. Based on his personal experiences with love, heartbreak, and the intricacies of contemporary relationships, he starts writing a romantic drama script. Sanya becomes his inspiration, but he finds it difficult to tell her how he feels because he worries about being rejected and how it could affect their friendship.
Act 5: The Climax
The film’s conclusion occurs during an encounter in which Sahir, who is still in love with Sanya, attempts to win her back. Raghav is compelled by this to face his feelings and declare his love for Sanya. All of the protagonists experience an emotional awakening as a result of the circumstances, during which they consider their previous transgressions and the actual significance of friendship and love.
Act 6: Resolution
Given their strong bond, Sanya ultimately decides to go with Raghav rather than Sahir. Raghav finishing his screenplay at the end of the movie serves as a metaphor for their shared journey.
Production
Jibraan Khan, Naila Grewal, Pashmina Roshan, and Rohit Saraf were chosen to play the main roles. Khan and Roshan make their on-screen debuts in the movie. In June 2022, principal filming was underway, and the first schedule was completed in July 2022. The majority of the movie was filmed on location in Dehradun and Mumbai.
Songs/Music
Hiten, Badshah, and Rochak Kohli wrote the movie’s soundtrack. Badshah, Gautam G. Sharma, Kumaar, and Gurpreet Saini wrote the lyrics.
The first song, “Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar,” was a re-creation of the title tune from the 2003 precursor, Ishq Vishk, which was composed by Sameer Anjaan and performed by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. “Chot Dil Pe Lagi,” which was adapted from the 2003 prequel, was written by Sameer Anjaan and sung by Kumar Sanu and Alisha Chinai. The fourth single, “Gore Gore Mukhde Pe,” was adapted from the 1994 movie Suhaag, which Sameer Anjaan and Udit Narayan, and Alka Yagnik sang.

Ishq Vishk Rebound begins as a bubbly romantic comedy but loses its sparkle in the middle, according to Devesh Sharma of Filmfare, who scored the movie two and a half stars. If you enjoy romantic comedies and must see every one of these events, watch them.
India’s Bhavna Agarwal Today rated the film two and a half stars and stated that the main issue is not that it portrays Rebound as “frivolous.” To entertain, however, it tries in vain or turns to tokenism. Yes, it’s corny and funny! But without a soul, it all seems like a lost chance.
