Gunda is a 1998 Bollywood action film, directer is Kanti Shah. This film leading star cast are Mithun Chakraborty, Mukesh Rishi and Shakti Kapoor with too many others. It’s producer is Anil Shah, writer Bashir Babbar, and the music Back ground score composer is Anand Raj Anand. The film now has become rather a cult film in India, due to its absurd story line, over-the-top acting, cheesy ‘rhyming’ dialogues, which mostly are double-meaning and low production values.
The film was released on 4 September 1998. Over time, the film has gained a cult following, selling over 2,000 VCD copies at a single outlet.It also received a limited re-release in 2018. The same year, actor Deepak Shirke who played politician Bachubhai, revealed that the film was shot without a script.
