Struggling through predator eyes, a poor destitute girl Ganga (Anu) meets Sitaram (Rahul). They work as servants in two different families, and help the two families fall in love, as do they themselves.

Production and Casting of the film :
- Mithun Chakraborthy was signed for the film but later leaved the project.
- After Ashique success , Ranjeet signed Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal for Ghazab Tamasha.
- Rekha was signed earlier for the film but fee demanded by rekha is not increase the Budget and so she leaved the movie.
- Deepak Tijori stated that he was promised a parallel lead to Rahul Roy in the film by Ranjeet. He was to get three songs picturized on him.What he got was just 4 scenes. This angered him. He also mentioned he was not paid his dues for the film. He was finally paid by Ranjeet’s brother, but felt like a beggar receiving his owed money.
- There was a picture of Anu Aggarwal with her skirt flying in the air used on large hoardings all over Bombay. This anger Anu because this scene was not in the film. She was angry that Ranjeet used the picture for the publicity of movie.
- Rahul Roy stated that Ranjeet still owed him money for the film.
