Story of the film
Former special operations officer Fateh Singh has chosen to live a calm life as a dairy farming supervisor in the bucolic Punjabi countryside, putting his tumultuous past behind him. Far from the mayhem and bloodshed of his former life, he spends his days caring for cattle and supporting his community. But when a young country girl named Nimrit Kaur is targeted by a malevolent cybercrime syndicate, his peaceful life is turned upside down. Devastation is left in its wake as the syndicate, headed by the vicious Raza and his crafty colleague Satya Prakash, preys on weaker people through bogus digital schemes.
The town is rocked by Nimrit is abrupt disappearance, and Fateh is pulled back into a life he believed he had left behind. He decides to intervene since he cannot see his town suffer. Through his inquiry, Fateh finds Khushi Sharma, a skilled and moral hacker who has been monitoring the syndicate’s operations. Motivated by her personal ambition to fight cybercrime, Khushi consents to work with Fateh. By combining Khushi’s scientific prowess with Fateh’s battle experience and tactical abilities, they create an unusual alliance.
Fateh and Khushi learn more about the syndicate’s activities and discover a vast network of cybercriminals who use technology to control and ruin lives. With influential people and intricate plans to avoid detection, the syndicate’s influence goes well beyond what they first thought. Threats to their life, treachery, and the psychological toll of seeing the syndicate’s victims are just a few of the difficulties the pair must deal with.
The voyage of Fateh involves both internal and external conflicts. He must make peace with the guy he was and the man he aspires to be as he faces the demons of his past. As Khushi enters a perilous world distant from the security of her computer screens, she too has to deal with her own anxieties and inadequacies.
As they gather information, find supporters, and create a strategy to take down the syndicate, their journey takes them throughout Punjab, from busy metropolises to isolated villages. They give people who have lost everything hope by saving Nimrit and other victims along the route. As Fateh and Khushi learn to trust and rely on one another in the face of insurmountable obstacles, their relationship becomes closer.
As Fateh and Khushi face Raza and Satya Prakash in a last confrontation, the plot reaches a thrilling conclusion. The two utilize their combined abilities to outmaneuver the syndicate’s commanders in a struggle that is not just physical but also a contest of cunning. Their willpower is put to the test and their limitations are pushed by the harsh and furious conflict.
The syndicate is ultimately brought to justice by Fateh and Khushi, who also bring its atrocities to the attention of the world. After confessing their love for one another, Fateh and Khushi meet.

Review
At its core, Fateh highlights the vulnerabilities of our fast-paced digital lives, Ronak Kotecha of The Times of India stated in his 3.5/5 star review. Its graphic storyline may not appeal to everyone, but it does a good job of emphasizing how urgent the issue is.
Firstpost’s Ganesh Aaglave awarded Fateh a rating of 3.5 out of 5 and stated that it is a big-screen entertainment that should be seen because of its well-written narrative and chic action scenes.
Bollywood Hungama rated it 3.5 out of 5 stars and said that Fateh is a stylish action film that highlights the worst aspects of loan applications, which are currently a major problem in the nation. Although there will not be much excitement about the picture, Sonu Sood’s acting and directing skills are outstanding, and it has the potential to be a surprise.
India’s Trisha Bhattacharya Today awarded it 2.5 out of 5 stars and commented that Fateh could be worth seeing if you are a Sonu Sood fan or are searching for a light-hearted, masala show with a socially conscious message. But you will not remember the movie long after the credits have rolled.
Times Now’s Tanmayi Savadi rated Fateh 2.5 out of 5 stars, stating that the narrative is unoriginal. The performers who give their all to make it palatable are the ones who save the day. Fateh would be worth seeing if you enjoy Sonu Sood’s work. Otherwise, even with plenty of style and action, it is treated in an uninteresting manner.
Filmfare’s Devesh Sharma rated the movie 2.5 out of 5 stars, stating that while it features several impressive action sequences, the pacing is inconsistent.
Deccan Herald’s Jagadish Angadi awarded it 2.5 out of 5 stars and commended Sood’s performance in the action scenes, but she also questioned the film’s excessive violence and unoriginal narrative and script.
Fateh is characterized by dizzying pace if not persistent lucidity, according to NDTV’s Saibal Chatterjee, who scored it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Sonu Sood gives a straightforward lead performance that is entirely consistent with the tone and content of the movie.
Dark, disturbing, and full of gore, Fateh is gung-ho in its efforts to make this stylized action yarn as brutal as possible, Mayur Sanap of Rediff stated in her review, which she rated two out of five stars.
Your tipping point depends upon how much sickening, relentless violence you can handle, commented Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express, who awarded it two out of five stars. “Clearly, the action choreographers have had a lot of fun, and you go along until a point.” Then it is all a fog of exhaustion and emptiness.
Bollywood starts 2025 with a bloodied nose as Sonu Sood tries his hardest to carve out a place for himself on the high table, according to Anuj Kumar of The Hindu.
While Fateh does not specifically aim to parody the action genre, Rishabh Suri of Hindustan Times said that the film’s global presentation, particularly in the action scenes, is sure to make an impression.
According to Rahul Desai of The Hollywood Reporter India, Sonu Sood’s directing debut is filled with awkward scripting and well-executed action scenes.
Box office
The estimated global gross at the end of Fateh’s theatrical run was ₹18.50 crore.
