Duniya Movie 1984

Duniya movie is a 1984 Bollywood Hindi action film, director is Ramesh Talwar, starring Dilip Kumar, Rishi Kapoor, Amrita Singh, and Ashok Kumar in the main roles. This film’s music composer is R. D. Burman.

A similar scene from the 1977 Kannada film Olavu Geluvu served as the inspiration for the film’s telephone sequence, in which the protagonist repeatedly contacts a landline number but disconnects the call, creating the impression that the connection is incorrect, but does not disconnect it until the villains are talking.

Story of the film

As the general manager of a shipping firm run by his buddy Dinesh, Mohan Kumar is a trustworthy and diligent individual. Dinesh is a widower, and Mohan Kumar, his wife Sumitra, and their small son Ravi are the ones to whom his daughter Roma is devoted. Mohan Kumar’s employees, Jugal Kishore, Bhandari, and Balwant, are involved in smuggling. The three guys kill Dinesh and cleverly frame Mohan Kumar for it once he finds out about their actions. Mohan Kumar has no recourse. He was given a 14-year prison sentence since he was unable to demonstrate his innocence in court. His wife dies in an accident around the same time.

Balwant, Bhandari, and Jugal Kishore, who work for Mohan Kumar, are involved in smuggling. Upon discovering their actions, the trio kills Dinesh and cleverly frames Mohan Kumar for the crime. Mohan Kumar has no alternative. Unable to demonstrate his innocence in court, he receives a 14-year prison sentence. Approximately the same time, his wife dies in an accident.

Jugal Kishore and Balwant designate Ravi to assassinate Mohan Kumar when he plots Bhandari’s murder. Ironically, Mohan Kumar saves Ravi when he is unable to do so and falls from the roof. One of Puri’s goons, Kabir, discovers Ravi’s firearm. He spies on Ravi out of suspicion and learns about his relationship with JK and Balwant. Mohan Kumar feels furious.

Balwant fails in his attempt to murder Mohan Kumar. Balwant dies after being struck by a vehicle while being pursued by Mohan Kumar. JK abducts Ravi and Roma because he is furious at the murders of Bhandari and Balwant. He wants a hefty ransom to free Ravi after learning that he is the son of Mohan Kumar. During the subsequent battle, Mohan and Ravi work together to murder JK.
