Drishyam 2 Movie is a 2022 Bollywood Hindi-language crime thriller film based on the 2021 Malayalam Superhit film of the same name, also serving as a sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam, which in turn was adapted from the 2013 Malayalam film.
The film’s Leading stars cast Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta. It also features Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Kamlesh Sawant in supporting roles.
Soon after the original film’s release in February 2021, the remake came into planning and was finalized within the same year. All actors from the first part were retained, while Akshay Khanna and Saurabh Shukla as newly cast.
The film shooting started in February 2022 and ended in June 2022. It was primarily shot in Goa with the shooting also taking place in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The film’s music composer is Devi Sri Prasad.
Drishyam movie was released theatrically worldwide on 18 November 2022. It opened with positive critics reviews with an appreciation for the leading cast’s performances, writing, cinematography, and editing.
