Dev Joshi Telewwod Actor

Indian actor Dev Joshi was born on November 28, 2000, and is most known for playing the character of Baalveer in the Sony Sab films Baalveer, Baalveer Returns, and Baalveer 3. He has performed in several commercials and over 20 Gujarati films. His portrayal of the teenage Chandra Shekhar Azad in Chandrashekhar is another well-known performance.

Life and education

Dushyant and Devangna Joshi, Dev Joshi’s parents, raised him in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.He studies political science at L.D. Arts College in Ahmedabad.

Telewood Career

Joshi, sometimes referred to as Baalveer, began performing at an early age in regional Gujarati programs, theater, commercials, and theatrical plays.

In 2009–2010, he made his television debut in Hindi as Young Shukra on NDTV Imagine. In 2010 he also starred in Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora as Young Shaurya.

He was chosen to play the title character of Baal Veer in the 2012 Sony SAB television series Baalveer. He continued in this character till 2016, at which point he appeared in Star Bharat’s Chandrashekhar as an adolescent Chandra Shekhar Azad. In the follow-ups Baalveer Returns and Baalveer 3, he rejoined Sony SAB to reprise his role as Baalveer.

Spaceflight

Joshi submitted his application to join the crew of the first private lunar orbit mission, DearMoon. He was chosen to take part in a SpaceX lunar journey in 2022, along with seven other people. Being the newest member of the crew, he will be the first Indian to fly around the moon. The mission is slated to take place on board the SpaceX Starship in 2024.
