Desh Devi movie Story
This film Story revolving around Gayatri (Jaya Seal) who lives in Mata-Nu-Madh, the main seat of Deshdevi, in the Kutch region of Gujarat.
As a child, Gayatri had lost her mother and although fate was so cruel to her, she found solace at the feet of Deshdevi, who provided her everything – happiness, peace, affection and protection. Deshdevi never deserted her under any condition. Now everything is going smoothly and one fine day she catches the attention of Veerji, a city business tycoon who has come to Mata-Nu-Madh and Deshdevi to seek peace of mind.
Impressed by Gayatri’s extraordinary aura, he asks Nandlal, Gayatri’s father, for her hand in marriage to his son, Shantanu. Although reluctant to move away from Deshdevi’s darbaar, on getting maa’s permission, Gayatri marries Shantanu, who has fallen deeply in love with her. Facing life in the city, post marriage, Gayatri has many challenges, thrown by destiny, awaiting her and Gayatri is grieved that Deshdevi has abandoned her.
Gayatri is about to fail in her life but for the timely help of Deshdevi! Because when Deshdevi is on your side, miracles do happens!
