De Dana Dan Movie is an 2009 Indian Bollywood comedy film directer is Priyadarshan. The story is a partial adaptation of Hollywood film Screwed and some scenes from Priyadarshan’s own Malayalam film Vettam. It stars Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia. Film shooting Started on 1 December 2008 at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. It was released on 27 November 2009 and turned out to be a moderate box office success.

Story of The Film :

Singapore-based Nitin Bankar’s education was paid for by his employer, Kuljeet Kaur, and he, after the passing of his father, works as an unpaid maid-chauffeur for her until such time he pays off whatever she had spent. He is in love with gorgeous Anjali Kakkad but her father refuses to give his consent for this alliance. Desperate to get out of this situation, Nitin attempts suicide, albeit in vain, and then cooks up a scheme to abduct Kuljeet’s pet, Mulchand, demand a hefty ransom, and then marry Anjali. He seeks assistance from his equally deadbeat-courier deliveryman, Ram Mishra, who wants to wed tall and pretty Manpreet Oberoi, and both book a room in Pan Pacific Hotel. However, Murphy’s Law and a host of assorted characters get involved – resulting in hilarious and uncontrollable chaos.

Production :

The film reunites the trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal with Priyadarshan, who directed them in the first Hera Pheri film. This is the first time the trio has acted together after Phir Hera Pheri in 2006, although Rawal and Shetty appeared in Priyadarshan’s Hulchul and Chup Chup Ke. Akshay and Rawal also appeared in Priyadarshan’s Bhagam Bhag.

The characters ‘Nitin Bankar’ and ‘Ram Mishra’, played respectively by Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty, are names of respective long-lasting spot-boys. Nitin Bankar is Akshay’s spotboy, while Ram Mishra is that of Sunil.

An article in Slate Magazine describes the shooting of a flood scene in Goregaon studios with locally hired white people. The film took 80 days to complete.

This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 5.4 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 7291.

i am surprised that this film has such a low rating. I am rating it a 9.

It has lots of famous Indian actors in it, and everyone is very funny in it.

The reason why it has a low rating, it is probably because every character in it is connected to others one way or another. So if you don’t pay attention to who they are, what they did, you will quickly get lost. If you can’t understand who they are, then obviously you will lost interest very quickly.

that is why i say in order to appreciate this comedy, you have to be an intelligent person. it is not for common people who have short attention span.

Of course, what happened in the film is improbable in real life. It is just a fun entertaining comedy, you will laugh for sure.
