Story of the film :
Simran (Madhoo) is a doctor. She goes to Ooty and accidentaly meets Avinash (Ayub Khan). The two fall in love and get married. They settle down in Ooty. Avinash planning to open a hospital, which he wants Simran to take care of.
At that time, Avinash is killed in an accident. Simran goes back to the city she came from and tries to start a new life and concentrate on her work. She comes across a patient named Jyoti (Seema Kapoor) who is mentally disturbed due to some past bad incidents in her life.
when Simran meets Jyoti’s husband Anant – who is a humshakal of Avinash. Simran can’t believe her eyes. After a few meetings, Simran and Anant begin to fall for each other. But Simran is still a little confused about the whole situation as Jyoti is still alive and she doe not know a lot about Anant.

Chehraa Movie Review :
Critics Rating by Aniket Joshi , from Planetbollywood give 4.0 star out of 10 Star and stated that “”Everyone did a decent job with their role, except for Seema Kapoor. Her facial expressions were perfect when she went into her violent rampages. She was able to stand out even with her little role. Madhoo looked beautiful in the saris she was given to wear. Ayub Khan was okay. Chehraa is somewhat better than any Mithun flick that releases these days. But I don’t think that can pass off as a very good compliment.”

Apparently, this movie is like 5 years old. Although, judging from the cast, clothes, etc. it seems like its more like ten years old and may have been a delayed movie. I don’t know how I didn’t watch this movie before. I don’t remember hearing too much about it.
