Happy Singh lives in a small village in Punjab. He is always compassionate and helpful, but often ends up causing more damage so much so that the Village Panchayat gets together to reprimand him. When the community gets news that one of their residents, Lakhanpal Singh, is an underworld don in Australia, they decide to delegate someone to counsel him. The villagers chose Happy, so that they can get rid of him. Happy’s ticket and other costs are paid for, and the Panchayat even asks a reluctant Rangeela to accompany him. Due to a mix-up, both end up in Egypt, leading to romance in Happy’s life when he meets with Sonia, a Criminologist, who would prefer to have criminals killed than reform them. Both friends do find their way to Australia, where they locate Lakhanpal, who humiliates them and asks them to leave. Both befriend a boutique owner and live in her house. When rival goons attack Lakhanpal, Happy rescues him, and gets him hospitalized. Lakhanpal does recover, but is paralyzed. His goons comically misunderstand that he wants Happy to be Don, and he undergoes a transformation and moves in to live a wealthy lifestyle in Lakhanpal’s mansion. When the boutique owner’s daughter returns home along with her fiancé, Punit, Happy plans a charade to make her believe that the mansion belongs to her. Happy’s life will soon be turned upside down when the daughter turns out to be none other than Sonia herself. Being aware of Sonia’s dislike for criminals, he will have no option but to plan a lavish wedding for her, while rival gangsters, and even some of Lakhanpal’s goons, plan to get rid of him.

Singh is Kinng, directer is Anees Bazmee has no story basically. But this one could be called a Kinng sized entertainer. It offers loads of big laughs, some action sequences,a little drama and lots of romance and last but not the least it has the biggest entertainer of Bollywood-Akshay Kumar. Direction by Anees Bazmee is excellent. The music is chart buster with all songs topping. The Cinematagropher has done a excellent job.The scenic beauty of Australia has been captured very well. Special mention to the dialogs writer who does an amazing job. Performance wise-Akshay Kumar is the Daddy of Entertainment.

He simply rocks!Katrina Kaif adds glamor value to the film.Om Puri and Kirron Kher are superb in their respective roles.Sonu Sood is very good.Neha Dhupia looks gorgeous.Javed Jaffery is excellent.Ranvir Shorey is okay in a brief role.Yashpal Sharma,Sudhanshu Pandey,Kamal Chopra and Manoj Pahwa are good.

Money Hai Toh Honey Hai Movie Review :

This film review are Mostly Negative from Critics, and the IMDB Public Reviewing site give 2.8 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 549.

I don’t know about the other reviews of the users but I feel this movie is good. I like the comedy of all the actors especially of Govinda and Manoj Bajpai.Celina Jaitley was too good in the movie and of course hot too.. I guess it is another hit for govinda and in this movie he looks rocking..

The dialogues in the movie are good and the concept is also cool.. I like the concept of the movie which is fashion for middle class people which many people think that its not going to work. I think the director wanted to tell everybody that even middle class people needs to get some name in the society and even they are people like others who like fashion and wants to look like page 3 people.

Mere Baap Pehle Aap Movie Review :

This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 5.3 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 1958.

if you are going in with preset mind of watching a Priyadarshan comedy then you might not appreciate the film. the performances are good. Om Puri stands out. Akshaye and Paresh are good and share a nice chemistry in father and son relationship. Jeneliya has looked cute and justice to her character( though there was not much for her to do)

if one goes for it with open mind without any presets then he/she would love the flick.

i would recommend do go for it at least once, as there are not many in Hindi cinema which shows father and son relationship and that too in this beautiful manner.

Critics Rating by Taran Adarsh, from Bollywood Hungama give 2.5 star out of 5 Star.

I was lucky to see the first day show of 3 idiots on Thursday in Dubai. Well the title of this post says it all. The movie is an example of classic film making. brilliant and highly entertaining.

Watch 3 idiots for a) amir khan’s incredible acting b) intelligent and highly energatic screenplay & direction (Rajkumar Hirani has done it yet again!) c) amazing chemistry among actors, d) some of the best comedy scenes coming from Indian cinema in a long time and e) a heart warming story which keeps you spell binded right till the end.

I would rate it as among the best from amir khan (which obviously means among the very best from bollywood. I would also give a lot of credit to the director rajkumar hirani, who after this movie

    Story of The Film :

Auro (Amitabh Bachchan) is an intelligent and witty 13-year-old boy with an extremely rare genetic defect that causes accelerated aging. He suffers from a progeria-like syndrome. Mentally he is 13, very normal, but physically he looks five times older. In spite of his condition, Auro is a very happy boy. He lives with his mother Vidya (Vidya Balan) who is a gynecologist. Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan) is young, progressive and a full-of-ideals politician. He is out to prove to the world that ‘politics’ is not a bad word. He is a man with a mission. Auro is Amol’s son.

    Production :
    Casting :

The film had Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of a child who is suffering from Progeria, a genetic disorder which leads to quick acceleration of ageing process in children. Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh’s real-life son, played the role of his father.

Vidya Balan was the only choice for the mother’s role. Arundathi Nag, the wife of late Kannada actor-director Shankar Nag was asked to play the role of Vidya’s mother (Bachchan’s maternal grandmother).[3]

    Film Shooting :

Most of the parts were shot in Lucknow and some parts of the film were shot in UK and Malaysia. A small portion of the filming was done at Cambridge. The clock of Corpus Christi College and courtyard of St. John’s College have been shown in a song sequence. The film was also shot in Taiping, Malaysia. The King Edward VII school was actually one of the typical Malaysian schools.

One of the notable things in the movie was Amitabh’s prosthetic make up. It was done by Hollywood’s Christien Tinsley (famous for his work in The Passion of the Christ, Catwoman and other films) and Dominie Till of The Lord of the Rings film trilogy fame.

There was a plan to make a sequel named Maa, but Balki stopped it. In the words of Balki, “My main aim was not to make a film on progeria. My main motive behind making Paa was to reverse the roles of Amitabh and Abhishek. I decided to do something like this because once I was with both of them and I saw Abhishek behaving in a very matured manner and Amitabh, behaving as a kid. It was then that this idea struck me.”

Paa was Abhishek Bachchan’s first venture into producing films for his family company AB Corp. Ltd. Abhishek not only was one of the lead actors in Paa, but was the main hands-on producer in charge of the film’s budget, marketing, and the entire production of the film. It took hours for Amitabh Bachchan to put on his makeup and to take it off.

Paa Movie Songs / Music :

The soundtrack (songs and the background score) was scored by veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja. The lyrics were penned by Swanand Kirkire. “Halke Se Bole” is based on the Tamil song “Putham Pudhu Kaalai” from his 1980 film Alaigal Oivathillai. “Gumm Summ Gumm” is based on the Malayalam song “Thumbi Vaa” which Ilaiyaraaja had composed for the 1982 Malayalam film Olangal. The song “Mere Paa” is based on his Tamil song “Kaatru Vizhi”, from Balu Mahendra’s film Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam. The song has an eclectic mix of Irish and Tamil Folk music, both seamlessly fused to create a soothing melody that appears as a leitmotif, in the film’s theme music.
