Govinda offers Pooja Bedi to watch the original South Indian version of the film. He wanted her for the role perform by Silk Smitha. He told Pooja it was a equally lead role. Pooja saw the original film and was disgusted.She thought Silk Smitha’s role was that of vamp that was barely wearing any clothes and Very sexy role. She go out at Govinda in the media for offering her such a bad role. The role then was finally done by Archana Puran Singh.
The song of the film shooting on Archana and Govinda was highly edited in the DVD version. It had suggestive dance moves of Archana cut out.
