Story Of The Film:
He and his adopted son Akash are doctors in a hospital that Dr. Siddharth Sinha founded. Although Siddharth’s profession demands him to devote his time to his patients, his dream is to manage a cutting-edge hospital. Dr. Neha Mathur, a recent addition to the hospital, quickly develops feelings for Akash. But later, after Sonia Kapoor moves in, Akash and Neha’s relationship changes. It doesn’t take long for Sonia, a spoiled, envious woman who is accustomed to getting her way, to want Akash for herself. She determines that she can win Akash’s love through a financial arrangement because he is the right man for her. According to the agreement, Gulshan Kapoor, Sonia’s father, will contribute to the hospital’s funding once Akash marries her.
Siddharth suffers a heart attack and passes away while attempting to take an injured child to the hospital. His final desire is for the hospital to be finished correctly. Now that he has to pay off more debt to buy hospital equipment, Akash is unable to find additional funding. Despite having a heavy heart, he consents to marry Sonia in order to establish the hospital and grant his father’s dying wish. Neha offers to stay on staff at the same hospital because of her commitment and professionalism, even though she recognizes his predicament and agrees to end her relationship with Akash.
Following their marriage, Sonia’s true nature emerges as one of intense manipulation, constant jealousy and mistrust, and compulsive control over Akash. She starts to irritate Akash and Neha because she thinks they are having an affair. Neha, who is still employed at the hospital, is something she cannot stand, and she is always thinking of ways to get rid of her. She was in a terrible accident and needs Akash to operate on her due to severe brain damage. He finds himself briefly in a difficult situation because treating Sonia would require him to deal with her issues once more. But he chooses to carry out his medical obligation, and Sonia eventually makes a full recovery.
Despite her behavior, she finds out that Akash performed surgery on her. In exchange for Akash being able to get married and start a family with Neha, Sonia begs for his pardon and files for divorce.

Because of the promotion proclaiming Armaan as the first film directed by renowned screenwriter Farhan Irani, it was one of the most anticipated Indian releases of the year. As a result, moviegoers were more excited to see the movie. However, Irani stated she was anxious about the movie’s commercial success and that she had low expectations for it in an interview with journalist Suchitra Behal of The Hindu. An official website was unveiled as part of the promotion at a press conference in Mumbai in April 2003. According to Subhash K. Jha’s article on Rediff.com, the movie was referred to as a “thanda film” in word-of-mouth.
Armaan Movie Review
This film review are Mostly Positive from Critics, IMDB Public Reviewing site give 5.2 Star Out Of 10 Star with Reviewers are 1074.
Armaan is an inspiring movie, with amazing performances, and nice music. The downfall of this film is that it slows down one minute, and goes too quickly the next. You are either confused from what has happened, or you are wishing it would hurry up. It could have been better there.
I’d say the best performances were from Amitabh Bachchan, and Preity Zinta, who I have always thought was very charming.
The story is relatively simple, and is one that many films have tried, worked, and failed in the past. Armaan is one that works, but only because of the acting, and maybe the script.
The music is excellent. The best songs would be “Mera Dil Ka Tumse Hai Kehnaa” and “Mere Zindagi Mein Aaye Ho” which I enjoyed.
Critics Rating by Taran Adarsh, from Bollywood Hungama give 1.5 star out of 5 Star.
