Manisha Koirala’s casting turned out to be a complete disaster. There was an ongoing conflict between Subhash Ghai and Manmohan Desai. She accepted Desai’s offer of the movie, which upset Subhash Ghai. How could she collaborate with his adversary, he asked her. Manisha consented to leave the movie in order to please Subhash Ghai. Subhash Ghai and Manisha had a three-picture deal, and Ketan Desai was aware that Manisha would have to prioritize Ghai’s film whenever he started one. In order to resolve these issues, Ketan made the decision to meet with Ghai in person. At last, Ghai consented to allow Manisha to work on the movie.

Story
