Story of the film
Renowned underworld criminals are arrested as a result of Police Inspector Amar’s (Vinod Khanna) audacious narcotics bust. As the perpetrators evade the authorities and are released, Amar’s efforts are in vain. Sub-Inspector Rima Kapoor (Dimple Kapadia) is appointed as Amar’s assistant by his superiors, who also give him a desk job. Amar brings Rima to his mother and friend, Nitin (Jackie Shroff), after they fall in love. In the meantime, a vigilante murders underworld members while wreaking devastation on the city.
After discovering the vigilante’s jacket and helmet in Amar’s closet, Rima arrests Amar and charges him with several murders. Does the vigilante Amar have a murderous streak? How far will Amar go to bring justice back and destroy the underworld?
