One day, Vicky meets a wealthy businessman, Mr. Amar Singh (Pran), who takes him under his wing and tries to reform him. Amar Singh offers Vicky a job and also introduces him to his daughter, Meena (Jaya Prada), whom Vicky falls in love with.
As Vicky starts to turn his life around and focuses on his work, he faces opposition from his old friend, Abdul (Om Prakash), who is also an alcoholic and doesn’t want Vicky to change. Abdul tries to sabotage Vicky’s efforts to reform himself and also tries to create a rift between Vicky and Amar Singh.
However, with Meena’s support and Amar Singh’s guidance, Vicky manages to overcome his addiction and starts to live a sober life. But things take a turn when Amar Singh’s business rival, Khanna (Satyendra Kapoor), frames Vicky for a crime he didn’t commit, and he gets arrested.
With the help of Meena and his friends, Vicky manages to clear his name and expose Khanna’s nefarious intentions. In the end, Vicky reconciles with his father and marries Meena.
